Ready to Look Good Naked?

By now I'm sure you've seen the new show "How to Look Good Naked" with Carson Kressley. I first fell in love with that flamboyant fashion maven in Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, and now he's back and better than ever in this new show. (and deeper than a puddle, too -- it's downright touching how much he obviously cares about helping women love their bodies, no matter what)

I don't know about you, but when I watch the show, I think "I want THAT experience"

To know what it feels like to do the "lineup"
To know what people think about my body -- REALLY
To get fitted by the "bra whisperer"
To enjoy a long, luxurious spa day -- for the sole purpose of feeling pampered and beautiful (and cherished!) all day long
To go shopping for clothes that flatter -- instead of settling for what's comfortable
To enjoy a full-on hair and makeup makeover
To have a nude photo shoot
and the whole package!

As many of you know, I've been undergoing my own self-makeover. One step at a time, so as not to put myself into self-image shock. First the hair (remember, I had the girl with the fabulous hair show me how to tame my mane?) then the makeup (thank you, Trish McEvoy -- I LOVE ya babe!) and then accessories (stay tuned for more about my new Fluent jewelry line...healing jewelry that ROCKS) and I am dabbling in fashion experimentation at the moment.

And all the while, I'm clearing HEAPS of limiting beliefs around body and self-image.

Of course, I know better than to try and do this on my own. After all, you've probably heard me say more than once that every successful person I know (including ME) has coaches, mentors, virtual boards of directors and advisors, and a whole entourage of models with footsteps to follow in, and I'm no exception!

I solicited help from my friend Marna Goldstein, creator of ThinWithin.com. Marna is the "Non-Diet Diva" and she is AMAZING. And one day we were talking about how much we loved Carson's show and it hit us like a lightning bolt --

doesn't EVERY woman deserve to have a "Feel Good Naked" experience?

So that's exactly what we're gonna bring you.

Calling All Coaches

If you're at all interested in learning how to easily attract your next (or first!) 5 coaching clients, then listen up.

My buddy Ann Strong and I are teaming up again to bring you another blockbuster teleclass. I know, I know, we're barely finished with Fluent Writing, but we were "called" to put together the next Fluent class, and here it is:

Beyond Self-Consciousness: Harness the Power of Fluency to Attract Coaching Clients

Whether you are a brand-new coach who is looking to build a practice, or you are an established coach who is looking to beef up your schedule, this class is for you. We will teach you the smooth and enjoyable Fluency method and show you how to move beyond your limitations and allow coaching clients to find you and sign up with you.

People are looking for you, did you know that? Right now, there are people somewhere who need exactly the kind of coaching that you have to offer. So why aren't they coaching with you yet? Well, it could be any number of reasons, and we'll explore this in our class. But we'll do more than that -- we'll also show you how to move beyond the blocks and allow these potential clients to become bona-fide coaching clients -- with YOU (yes, you!)

Learn more on Monday, March 3 at 6PM Mountain time, when I join Ann for this free call entitled: Using Your Internal Guidance System to Make Powerful and Effective Decisions Every Time

Register (free) here to receive dial-in info for the call.

Or go here to register for the class.

Did You Miss Me?

Yes, it's been awhile since I've posted anything of substance, but between my copywriting business and my coaching clients (and of course travel and personal life), things have been quite busy.

Good news, though -- you'll be hearing a lot more from me in the coming days, as there are a LOT of exciting things coming up.

Stay tuned...

What Is Love?

A friend of mine (Nan Akasha) asked me to answer this question, "What is love?"

Definitely not one of those questions I can rattle off a zippy quip to.

In fact, rather than telling you what I think love is, I thought it would be more fun (and accurate) to receive the answer fluently.

So here goes:

What is love?

Love is a yummy experience.

Love is a heart connection between two spirits -- known or unknown.

Can you love someone you don't know? Of course you can. Haven't you ever had the experience of seeing someone's picture and resonating with it immediately? It might be an adorable puppy, a laughing baby, or a starving child in Africa. You love them instantly -- sure, you might not admit it, but that's only because your ego would have you believe that it's not possible to love at first sight.

But truly, from Divine perspective, it is easy to see that Love actually occurs BEFORE first 'sight.'

Because we are all connected -- we are all one -- what's not to love? The parts (physical and otherwise) about ourselves that we feel unable to love in ourselves and others are certainly NOT unlovable. A simple shift in our perspective is enough to help us see that.

Love is ever-present, whehter or not we are consciously aware of it or not. Why? Because of the heart connection that each of us shares with all energetic beings -- people, animals, the earth, computers, lint, you name it, we're connected to it.

Look at you sitting there, reading this -- can't you see how very surrounded by love you are!

If you're answering "no" then take a moment to sit back, relax and let yourself become consciously aware of your heart connection to everything around you right now.

Imagine rays of light pink-colored light reaching out from your heart to everything around you -- the chair in which you sit, the floor beneath your feet, the ceiling above you, your monitor, your phone, your desk, your cat.

Now imagine these rays of light reaching into your heart from everything around you.

Can you feel the heart connections?

Everywhere you go, everywhere you are, I am there with you. Our hearts are forever connected.

Not bound together as in chains or obligations, but spiritually connected as in the spider's intricate web, delicate yet strong, moist with fresh dew and glistening in the radiant morning sun.

==END OF COMMUNICATION==

Wow. That was certainly a lovely one. I hope you enjoyed the experience, and I look forward to seeing what Nan puts together in the "What is Love" segment of her blog!

QoD: Where have you been resisting feeling a heart connection in your life? Where are you looking at love as an obligation or a binding chain as opposed to a strong yet delicate fiber? What would you have to shift to be free from this old perspective that no longer serves you?

Go for it!

(And if you would like some help, I invite you to schedule private coaching sessions with me. Well worth it, according to all of my clients!!)
