I've Traveled to the Sun and Back

Phoenix must be one of the hottest spots in the U.S. If you're wondering where I've been lately, I was in Phoenix (on the sun).

Have you ever gone into something (a meeting, a trip, a relationship, maybe?) and you weren't expecting much at all, so that when you got far more than you expected, you were absolutely blown away?

Well, that's what happened to me this weekend.

I was just tagging along with my husband, really. Just hanging out, seeing our friends and soaking up an intensely positive and possibility-ridden energy. We attended a one-day training for his network marketing company.

If you've been reading this blog for more than a week or so, you're probably pretty clear that I've got a lot going on. I don't just mean with the move, and the new house we built, and the pregnancy, and all that. I mean in my business -- I'm constantly creating new products to help people find greater abundance, I'm partnering with like-minded individuals to bring you amazingly powerful tools, and I'm planning my business and new promos at least four months out. Not to mention sending out newsletters and providing thought-provoking content via this blog.

So I'm certainly not looking for a new business opportunity, even though they seem to seek me out.

But I was so blown away by "what's next" with my husband's network marketing company, I'm thinking I might have to carve out some time for that too.

Yeah, it was that good.

So while it was great to see all the friends and soak up the energy, the wheels in my brain started churning...and if you're dying to know what all the fuss is about, go check out our website - GrantFamilyOnline.com.

But that doesn't mean I'm bailing on internet marketing and the expansion of success for driven individuals such as yourself. On the contrary, I'm as committed to your success as ever.

In fact, I'll prove it.

On September 13th, I'm hosting a free callon "Success and the Law of Attraction" with Michael Losier, author of the Law of Attraction: How to Attract More of What You Want and Less of What You Don't Want. Space is limited to only 300 people and we're gonna max that out FAST.

The registration page is being tweaked, and you'll be able to sign up soon. I suggest you jump on it -- if you hesitate, you're sure to miss out on this one-time call.

Did I mention the call is free?

Oh, and I am already planning the next HUGE thing. And I can't tell you much, except to say these 3 things:

1 - you'll see it before the year is over
2 - it's gonna rock your socks in the world of ABUNDANCE
3 - it's gonna be FREE. Yep, you heard me. It's kind of like my gift to the world (as corny as that may sound).

WOO-HOO!!!! Lots of exciting stuff going on!!

Stay tuned...

Meanwhile, here is your Question of the Day:

How big are you playing? I'm stretching myself farther than I've ever been before. Sure, it's a little scary at first, but once you push through the fear it's PHENOMENAL. So think big! Play big! Life is not a dress rehearsal, you know.

All you got is NOW. What are you doing with your NOW?

Holy Moving Van, Batman...

Holy cow, I can't believe it's been over a week since my last post. Don't worry, I'm not slipping, I just moved.

Did you know that moving is one of the top 5 most stressful events in a person's world?

Of course, it wasn't too bad for me. I had lots of help (it helps when you play the pregnancy card) and we hired movers as well. Plus the move was only 2 miles away -- which was nothing compared to my last cross-country move after Hurricane Katrina.

At any rate, the new house is fabulous and being the recovering control freak that I am, I am anxious to have everything unpacked, settled in, and just the way I like it. But that's gonna take some time, so I'm practicing patience. As in, RIGHT NOW!

I've got a surprise coming on September 13th, but I can't share it just yet...suffice to say you won't want to miss out. And it's free...shhh!

I've got another surprise coming in the next week or so, but it's definitely not for everyone. More about that soon.

For the time being, I've got to pack (sooooo sick of packing!) because we leave for Phoenix in the early AM.

One year ago, I was plannign to head home from this same event when disaster struck (Katrina). Wow, what a difference a year can make.

Here is your QoD:
Where would you like to be one year from today? What changes will you have to implement, beginning immediately to create that as a reality? Now, what are you waiting for?

The Serene Entrepreneur: Successful or Lazy?

You know, to me there is a fine line between successful and lazy. I mean sure, not all lazy people are successful adn not all successful people are lazy. But it does seem like the less I actually DO, the more results I get. Maybe that's because when my head is screwed on right, my actions are pure and conscious, propelling me towards my goal. When my head is lost in the clouds somewhere (or in the past) I am just spinning my wheels all day, working on stuff that means nothing in the long run.

Also, the faster I take action on my ideas, the faster they come together. Imagine that. It's that same thing I've been preaching lately, Money Loves Speed.

No wonder I'm in negotiations with Michael Losier and I've been asked to write a chapter for a new Law of Attraction book. Plus I've got JV opportunities coming out of the woodwork. Yowsa.

And I'm closing on my brand new home (have you seen the video yet?) this Thursday, so needless to say, things have been a little interesting of late.

But it doesn't mean I'm working too hard. My friend and business partner (one of 'em) Karrie King has been in town to visit for a few days and we're feng shui-ing my new home. Today we did a very cool house blessing! But mostly just hanging out and playing with my 2 1/2 year old and hubby too.

So I'll make this short and sweet.

Just becaues you have a to-do list a mile long, it doens't mean you're successful, or that you will be.

Is there lots to get done? Yes. Does it take some work to be successful? Absolutely. Do you have to work like a dog? Heck no.

Work smarter, not harder. If you're wondering exactly how to do that, check out the lazy person's guide to success here.

Here's your QoD:
What can you dump from your to-do list to help you work smarter, not harder? What can you cut from your daily routine? What can you add, that adds value to your life?

Now GO DO IT !

Remember, action does it.

Happy Anniversary to New Success!

This month, we are celebrating one year of being online as NewSuccess.org ! ! !

Hip hip, hooray!
Hip hip, hooray!
Hip hip, hooray!

It's hard to believe that it's been a full year since I dreamed of this website and set the wheels in motion to make it reality. Since then, I've gotten a lot faster at manifesting my dreams. In fact, just this weekend I got the idea for an ebook...and I've already written it. I have an online celebrity writing my forward, and it will be avaialable to the general public by this weekend. Now taht's pretty darn quick!

It's also interesting to note that when I started this website and blog a year ago, I had no idea Hurricane Katrina would show up and turn our worlds upside down within just a few weeks. Hmmm. Interesting how life can change in an instant.

So it's good to always be living it fully...because you never know.

I want to especially thank all my friends and readers who've been here throughout it all! I appreciate you!!!

To Your Outrageous Success,

Amy Scott Grant

Can 10 Cents Change Your Life?

I admit, I love sales. Who doesn't? I mean, who would RATHER pay full price for anything if they didn't have to? I especially love when I'm already going to buy something, and there it is, on sale, saving me money. Yet another gift of abundance from the Universe. Thanks again!

Right now, practically every store in the free world is offering school supplies at ridiculously low prices. Glue sticks for 20 cents. Notebooks for 10 cents. Folders for a nickel.

What does ANY of this have to do with success?

I'm so glad you asked.

Are you familiar with the "magic book" technique?

First let me say, I didn't invent this - it's been around for ages. Tom and Penelope Pauley talk about it. Joe Vitale talks about it (in fact, he gave each of us a really cool one from India as a gift during the Manifestation Weekend). If I remember correctly, Napoleon Hill talks about it too.

But the reason it's stuck around for so long is because IT WORKS.

And right now, you can go to any drug store or discount mart and pick one up for 10 cents.

See, there's nothing magic about the notebook while it's sitting there on the shelf.

But as soon as you bring it home with you, and you start treating it like a magic book - well, that's when the miracles start to happen.

So how does one use this magic book to create specific results in reality?

Again, I'm so glad you asked.

Once you've set the intention that your notebook is magic, you can write down anything in the book and have it come true. Something magical happens when you write down your goal as though it's already achieved. You can super-charge it by being grateful - as though it's already happend and you're thanking the Universe for delivering it to you. When you write it down, it's not just a thought, or a spoken word that disappears as soon as you stop talking about it - the written work is actually, there sitting there in existence. Ready to manifest itself.

Of course, there are a few rules.

1 - The book should only be used for good. Don't wish any ill will upon another unless you are prepared to reap that 100 fold.

2 - Don't ask for something that seems ridiculous to you - it should be challenging, but just believable that it can happen.

3 - Don't demand how it will happen. If you want $100,000, don't ask to win the lottery. Just ask for the $100,000.

4 - Be sure you ask for exactly what you want - you'll get what you ask for, not what you want.

5 - When you get what you ask for, acknowlege it in some way - highlight it in your book, put a checkmark or a sticker next to it, etc. That reinforces the power of the magic book.

6 - Put it in the present tense, as though it's already yours. Name it to claim it (but claim it now, not some time in teh future).

7 - Be sure you have no limiting beliefs that work against wahtever your asking for. If you think it's noble to be poor, it won't do you much good to ask for wealth. If you're constantly condeming skinny people, don't ask for easy weight loss. Set your beliefs in congruence with your goals.

8 - Watch your language. Pick apart each word - the whole thing should feel wonderful when read out loud. If something doesn't feel right when you read it, it should be re-worded and re-written until it does.

9 - Release any attachment to the outcome. For example, "I'd love a new Corvette" has no attachment, whereas "I've got to get that new Corvette" clearly shows attachment. When you can detach from teh outcome, the resutls will come so quickly and swiftly and surprisingly, it'll blow your mind.

I may be missing some, as I think of them, I'll reference in a new post. If you thikn of any I've forgotten, feel free to email me and let me know.

So you can truly have anything you want for only 10 cents.

How's that for a bargain?

QoD: Will you start a magic notebook today? Why not? Aren't your goals and dreams worth at least 10 cents to you? Go for it! Just say no to procrastination!
